In the past few days, Manchester United have been suggested as a potential destination for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz.

While the competition for the Brazilian is growing and there are a host of Premier League clubs said to be monitoring the situation, an interesting suggestion has now emerged from Italy.

Calciomercato.it have reported that Manchester United’s interest in the midfielder is worth keeping an eye on, because he is represented by Kia Joorabchian.

The Red Devils’ striker Joshua Zirkzee is also represented by Joorabchian and the Dutchman is of interest to Juventus, who want to sign a striker in January. Due to the common agent between the two, and his record in the market, the outlet speak of a sensational swap deal between the two clubs.

Douglas Luiz could start for Juve against Torino at the weekend but that may not change his situation, which continues to be uncertain. At the same, Zirkzee is said to be ‘disgruntled’ at Old Trafford, although reports yesterday said he doesn’t want to give up.

The indication is that Joorabchian can take advantage of the situation and execute an unlikely deal that involves both the players.
