It’s now time for Spanish news agency EFE to bring the latest on Casemiro.
The outlet features a report claiming these are ‘key hours’ for the midfielder’s future, as he’s about to decide whether to move to Manchester United or stay at Real Madrid.
According to EFE’s information, the La Liga side feel like the player is closer to moving to Old Trafford than continuing at the Santiago Bernabeu, even though sources from the club say there’s no formal offer for the transfer yet.
Real Madrid are said to be confident that Casemiro’s decision about moving to Manchester United will be made between Thursday night and Friday.
EFE adds there’s ‘surprise’ at the La Liga side that the player did not deny the Red Devils’ proposal on social networks or with leaks from his entourage. And despite his good relationship with president Florentino Perez, he did not make contact with the club’s board either.
Earlier today, we covered reports from the Brazilian media claiming Casemiro is interested in the ‘challenge’ Manchester United could present for him, with local claims denying the stories about Erik ten Hag’s side offering him much higher wages.
