Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid looks like it’s going to be a theme between now and the summer. Facing a transfer ban only for the winter window, the Spanish media have been picking out targets for a possible Real Madrid shopping spree next year.
They claim that Chelsea’s Courtois has expressed a desire to return to Spain to his ‘circle of friends’.
There’s no timeframe put on that and considering the Chelsea player has said himself that he’d quite fancy returning to Spain one day, it’s hardly a revelation.
There are yet again claims about Courtois’ contract situation, and until a renewal is agreed and signed then that will remain the case.
Courtois fully enjoyed his lifestyle in Spain whilst on loan from Chelsea and a return, sooner or later, would be no surprise.
