AS Monaco midfielder Kévin N’Doram is attracting interest from the Premier League this summer.
According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, N’Doram has emerged as a transfer target for Everton. The Merseyside club have approached Monaco and asked about ‘a possible transfer’.
The report does not suggest any response yet from the Ligue 1 outfit to Everton’s initial contact.
N’Doram came up through the ranks of the French club’s youth system before being promoted to the first team in 2016. However, he’s so far failed to feature regularly for Monaco, despite his ability to play as a defensive midfielder or a defender.
This season, the youngster has made seven starts in Ligue 1 and has four more appearances from the bench.
N’Doram was a transfer target for several French clubs during the last summer transfer window. There was also interest in the versatile player in the January transfer window. Once again French clubs are positioning themselves should a loan opportunity become available.
Lack of playing time at Monaco could force N’Doram to leave his current employers. This would obviously be a Steve Walsh pick for Everton, and should the move go through this summer the 22 year old would then face a battle to get into the English club’s team.
