Kim Kallstrom has spoken to the Swedish media about his loan spell at Arsenal in 2014. The former Sweden international spent six months at Arsenal, and helped the club to the FA Cup final.

Speaking to Fotbollskanalen, Kallstrom was asked about his time at Arsenal, and the club winning the FA Cup whilst he was at the club. The 34-year-old said it was a happy experience parading the cup around, with the Arsenal fans being euphoric.

Kallstrom revealed it was also an interesting experience to stand back to watch the joy of everyone involved, and that it was awesome for the club to win a piece of silverware.

“It felt that the fans were totally euphoric. We went around in an open double-decker bus, and of course I could take a step back. I was involved but not in that way, so it was quite interesting to stand there and see how happy everyone was. I was also super happy. It was a very beautiful experience when you could see it in a completely different way. It was awesome,” said the Swede.

Kallstrom only played a handful of games for Arsenal due to a back problem he already had when he joined the North London side. However, he did play his part in the FA Cup semi-final win over Wigan Athletic, but didn’t make the squad for the final against Hull City.
