The Alvaro Morata to Juventus story is continuing it’s merry little way down the transfer window river, with Tuttosport providing the latest update.

The Italian newspaper explain the Spaniard is one of the players the club would be willing to sell in order to fund some arrivals, alongside the likes of Eden Hazard (yes, really), Thibaut Courtois and Willian.

If you’re still with us by this point, Tuttosport further their article by explaining Roman Abramovich would like to see a return of around €60m on a player his club paid €80m for just last summer.

While Juventus aren’t all that thrilled at spending such an amount on another striker just yet, a deal similar to Juan Cuadrado’s, meaning a long-term loan with an obligation to buy, could be on the cards.

Were Chelsea to agree to these terms, then something could get done, but the fact the Russian oligarch would like to see some money come in before spending big in the upcoming transfer window might stand in their way.

That’s where the train of thought is in Italy at the moment, and you can be sure to tune in tomorrow for another likely update on the matter, because that’s how these things work around this time of the year.
