Over the weekend, Calciomercato and Il Bianconero reported that Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici made a trip to Barcelona.
It was explained Paratici offered a swap deal involving Daniele Rugani and Juan Miranda, and is now waiting for a response from the La Liga winners.
Mundo Deportivo relayed the same information and further go on to explain the Old Lady are ‘very interested’ in the left-back. Juve offered up to €10m for Miranda, but the Spanish champions only want a loan deal without a purchase option.
Ernesto Valverde has Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo as the two left-backs in the squad and wants to allow Miranda go elsewhere on a temporary deal to gain more experience.
Another Catalan newspaper Sport has an update on Miranda, but there is no mention of Juventus.
The report states Marseille could be his next destination as they have shown great interest in the fullback.
Barca’s desire is to allow Miranda join an elite team and the Ligue 1 side meet the Blaugrana’s requirement.
Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta held talks with Barca and the former would have accepted his side can take Miranda only on a dry loan deal.
