Reports in the Liverpool based media suggest Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing a wide attacking midfielder in January, with Sadio Mane departing for the African Cup of Nations.
The Reds have the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi to fill in for Mane, but Klopp reportedly wants to add another attacker.
According to a latest report on Italian website Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool could be interested in signing Indian origin footballer Luciano Narsingh.
The PSV star is believed to be among one of the names Jurgen Klopp is considering singing in January. Corriere dello Sport say Klopp has made a list of players, who he believes could strengthen his existing squad and help them fight for the title.
Narsingh has made 16 appearances for the Dutch national team, and is named in an article reporting Liverpool interest in Atletico Madrid’s Arda Turan. It’s not a very long list.
Klopp has already got better options at the club, and Liverpool’s interest in Narsingh doesn’t make too much sense. The Corriere report looks like a mash-up of others, even suggests Turan could be part of any Coutinho deal, which would contradict the claim Klopp wants to add to Liverpool, rather than subtract from it.
There are other options in the market that would seem more fitting for Klopp.
