The Reds have been linked to a number of players, but nothing has materialised so far.
According to Italian website Gazzetta di Parma, Liverpool are interested in signing AC Milan star Mattia De Sciglio.
The 23-year-old is primarily a right back, but played a number of games at left back for AC Milan last season.
Gazzetta di Parma say Klopp would love to have De Sciglio at the club, and is thinking about it. It is reported the Italian international could cost Liverpool around €18-€20m.
Reports in the Italian media suggest AC Milan are looking to sell De Sciglio to keep Carlos Bacca at the club, so Liverpool might have an opportunity should they be genuinely interested in signing him.
De Sciglio was seen as a great hope for Italian football as he was breaking through, and has recently made progress which shows the earlier hype from his youth may well be justified.
