The closer we get to the summer transfer window, the more stories we see about the future of Victor Osimhen.

The Napoli star continues to get linked to several clubs, especially from the Premier League, and it’s Arsenal and Chelsea who are named as potential destinations for him today.

Those comments are made on RAI by journalist Ciro Venerato. He was asked about the future of a couple of Napoli players, with Osimhen being one of them.

Venerato now claims Arsenal and Chelsea could both enter a big auction for the 24-year-old, who could leave the Serie A side for a big chunk of money.

“The future of the Nigerian will be decided in June, in a summit with his prosecutors. A contractual adjustment will be needed, to which the president is open, even going beyond the parameters of the club,” said Ciro Venerato on RAI (via 100×100 Napoli).

“If Osimhen were to then decide to give in to the sirens of the Premier League, an auction would ensue between Arsenal and Chelsea, with figures that could be around €150m.”

Osimhen has 18 goals and four assists in 22 appearances for Napoli this season, and has been making the difference for the club, keeping them on top of the table.

It’s well known that Premier League sides such as Arsenal and Chelsea are set to come for him in the summer, but the Serie A side know the gem they have on their hands, and that’s why it wouldn’t be crazy from them to ask for well over €100m for his move.
