Nottingham Forest’s move for Orel Mangala is still on track and there is ‘no need to panic’ about it being completed.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who provides an update today on the impending transfer.
Mangala has been on the verge of a move to Nottingham Forest for most of this week, with Steve Cooper’s side striking an agreement with Stuttgart.
It was reported on the 25th that the deal was on the verge of being completed and that was followed by a report on the 26th that a medical was taking place and it was ‘in the bag’.
He reports that Mangala’s medical tests with Nottingham Forest were a success and the midfielder is still in Athens, where the medical took place.
He is booked onto a flight to London today to join up with his new club and while things have taken longer than planned, there is ‘no need to panic’ if you’re a Nottingham Forest fan.
