Manchester City showing interest in Torino star Gleison Bremer should not come as a surprise, claims Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin.

The defender has been one of the stars in Serie A this season and his statistics make him standout in the league. The 24-year-old’s fine displays convinced the Turin club to tie him down to a new deal at the start of this month.

Despite signing a new deal, the Brazilian continues to get linked with a move away from his current employer.

Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan are joined by Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and a few other clubs. Latest reports coming out of Germany have stated Bayern Munich have emerged as the centre-back’s new suitor.

With several sides already looking at Bremer, Biasin says the likes of City and Paris Saint-Germain could also be in the picture to sign him.

The journalist made these claims about Pep Guardiola’s side and PSG possibly becoming Bremer’s suitors on Calciomercato.it’s Twitch channel, relayed by FcInter1908.it.

“Bayern Munich on Bremer? I wouldn’t be surprised if there were PSG and Manchester City as well,” Biasin said.

“We are talking about a defender who plays at a sensational level. He stopped all the attackers he faced, he is a modern defender.”

“Inter, Juve and Milan have set their sights on him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went abroad for really very important figures.”
