Arsenal have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Juventus’ Dejan Kulusevski.
Earlier on Friday, TuttoMercatoWeb explained Spurs are considered a ‘serious candidate’ for the transfer of the 21-year-old. We also covered multiple claims from Italy which explained the Gunners are interested in the Sweden international.
The two north London clubs are also credited with an interest in Dušan Vlahović, and Juventus are also keen to sign the Fiorentina star.
Journalist Enzo Bucchioni, writing in his lengthy column for TuttoMercatoWeb, states La Viola have sold a few players to the Turin club in recent years and are not in favour of also sending Vlahović.
In order to convince Fiorentina to sell Vlahović to the Old Lady, Juve were preparing to include Kulusevski as part of the operation. This is when both Mikel Arteta’s side and Spurs are mentioned.
Bucchioni says Tottenham want the former Atalanta man, but he seems ‘destined for Arsenal for about €30m’.
That would make Juventus’ Vlahović plan difficult to conclude, and it would be no surprise if Kulusevski prefers a move to Arsenal, and the Premier League, rather than sliding down the list of Serie A clubs.
