Everton forward Josh King is a target for Galatasaray this summer should he not extend his stay at Goodison Park.
King joined Everton from Bournemouth in the January transfer window, with the Blues keen to bolster their forward line after letting Cenk Tosun return to Turkey.
The Norwegian’s deal at the club expires in the summer, with them essentially handing him an initial six-month deal and telling him to earn a longer stay.
That is something he has failed to do so far, making just a handful of substitute appearances under Carlo Ancelotti, even when Everton have been short of numbers upfront.
At the moment, it appears he will not be staying on Merseyside beyond the summer, and there have been several reports about a potential move to Turkey as a result.
Earlier this week, it was claimed in England that Galatasaray are keen on his signature, and according to Fotomaç editor in chief Zeki Uzundurukan, that is very much the case.
“Transfer work is also underway in Galatasaray, where cold winds are blowing between the management and the technical committee and the players,” he said.
“The first striker on Galatasaray’s agenda is Joao Pedro, who has decided to leave Cagliari.
“The other is Joshua King, who is out of contract with Everton at the end of the season…”
