According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce have been given the opportunity to sign Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.
The Ghana international will be out of contract at the end of the month after five seasons at the Emirates.
Fotomac report on developments regarding Partey’s future and claim Fenerbahce have been approached by agents, with the aim to tempt them into making an effort for the midfielder.
It’s claimed the Super Lig side could consider signing the 32-year-old because it would be a free transfer, but the final decision will come down to their manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach is likely to be in the market for a central midfielder this summer, with reports Fred could be heading to Everton. Tottenham Hotspur’s Yves Bissouma has also been linked with the Yellow Canaries this month.
Fotomac claim the player would be interested in a transfer to Istanbul. Fenerbahce’s local rivals Galatasaray have also been linked with the Arsenal man, and their interest could grow if Gabriel Sara leaves.
Partey made 52 appearances for the Gunners last season, scoring four goals.
