Jose Mourinho has found himself in troubled waters at Fenerbahce, as reports in England suggest he could be on his way to Everton.

Fanatik cover the Portuguese boss today and comments from Fenerbahce president Ali Koç, who it seems has been part of something of a face-to-face discussion with the Portuguese coach.

“Our coach came yesterday and made a presentation to us, the board members,” Koç is quoted as saying.

“Normally, we deal with 2-3 managers, we all have responsibilities in our own areas. I understand our fans. I conveyed our fans’ complaints to our coach. Our coach also has his own philosophy.”

These quotes have been taken as a sign of something of a break between Fenerbahce and Mourinho, with them currently trailing Galatasaray by eight points in the title race.

It seems they, and the fanbase, are unhappy with his management of the team and there’s been a meeting this week to determine the next steps forward. The idea that Mourinho “has his own philosophy” would suggest that meeting didn’t bring the relevant parties as close together as some may have hoped.

And that’s added extra flavour to a growing situation around Mourinho, with claims in England that Everton have an agreement with him to replace Sean Dyche.

This ‘explosive’ claim hasn’t gone unnoticed in Turkey or by Fanatik, who say it emerged just a day after Koç’s comments on Mourinho to the press.

They seem to be hinting that it may be a case of 2+2 = 5 from the British press, but there’s certainly a small storm building around Mourinho and a hint it may be possible for Everton to get him out of Turkey if they actually wish to do so.
