The first four pages of Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday detail the latest pretenders who could be about to buy AC Milan. The club badly need a reboot and it’s the Fuson group, who recently bought Wolves, who are the latest to be in line.
Indeed, Gazzetta explain that an offer has already been made, via super agent Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese football business king was in China earlier this year building deals, and he’s also involved at Wolves.
Gazzetta say that if the deal goes through, then AC Milan have several new possible targets. Two of those are the Sporting pair of William Carvalho and Adrien Silva.
The Portuguese press have this week been insisting that Everton have a strong interest in both players. Both impressed at Euro 2016, and interest wouldn’t be so much of a surprise.
The last thing Everton need is Mendes getting involved and thinking he can run an auction for the players, and also have a preferable destination.
