It seems Premier League clubs Manchester City and Manchester United will have to wait a little longer until they get a response on their bids for Benfica’s João Félix.

Newspaper A Bola brings a story today saying that the Eagles’ president Luís Felipe Vieira is waiting until the end of the Nations League as he analyses the offers he has.

Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid are named as the clubs who are interested in the wonderkid, who could be making his debut for Portugal this week.

A Bola claims that Benfica currently have four offers, all of them reaching of €120m, but with different payment methods.

Both the Red Devils and the Cityzens had previously been named as two out of those four.

The Eagles’ preference wouldn’t really be for those who pay €120m and take Félix now. They would rather take a chunk of the fee now, keep the player for an extra year and then receive the rest.

So as it’s still not clear which club is offering what for the Portuguese starlet, we’re pretty much in the dark for now.

Perhaps things will seem clearer in a week or so once the international period has come to an end.
