There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Besiktas are looking to offload Ernest Muci when the transfer window reopens in the new year.
The Albania international was linked with a move to Aston Villa during the summer and recent reports said the Premier League side will return for the playmaker in January.
Fanatik today report on the latest developments regarding the future of Muci after his struggles to get in the Besiktas starting eleven this season.
It’s claimed the Istanbul side are ready to cut their loses with the player despite only signing him from Legia Warsaw during the last winter transfer window.
Only last week we covered reports from the Turkish press which stated Aston Villa are preparing to make an offer for the attacker ahead of the next window. His club are reportedly looking for offers in the region of €15m as they look to raise funds for new players.
He made 17 appearances for the Super Lig side last season, scoring four goals. However, he’s only started one game this season.
Muci is contracted to Besiktas until June 2027.
