Earlier on Friday we covered a report from Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf which stated Vincent Janssen to Tottenham Hoptspur was edging ever closer.
So much so, that the newspaper said a medical could happen today, and a fee finally be agreed between the two clubs.
Tottenham is a dream transfer for Janssen and he’s not been afraid to go public with those feelings, also criticising his current club for asking too high a price to make a transfer happen.
All that could now be water under the bridge. Janssen has been pictured leaving AZ’s training centre, and pulling a suitcase.

Dutch journalist Theo Brinkman got the snap and he also said that a deal could be sorted out today with Tottenham. Hopefully someone followed Janssen and there’ll be airport photographs soon.
He later added quotes from Janssen to the story: “AZ and Tottenham are now talking. It is not yet hundred percent but it looks good. Otherwise I was going to train today.
“I am pleased that the clubs are now talking to each other. I now go home and wait until I get a message. It might take an hour, but it may take longer. ”
Thanks to Daniel Oude for the heads up.
