Derby County signed Jacob Widell Zetterström in the summer and since joining, the Swede has been a regular for the Championship side.

He’s started seven games, playing a role in the club’s three wins, letting in only eight goals and keeping three clean sheets.

Rams’ boss Paul Warne has already nicknamed the goalkeeper ‘James Bond’, out of a potential resemblance to Daniel Craig.

Zetterström spoke to AftonBladet and was asked about the James Bond nickname.

He revealed his reaction to the name and said: Yes, I had a good laugh at that. Paul is a great person who likes to joke a lot.

“It was also why it felt so right with Derby, that there is a very good atmosphere in the club and among players and managers.”

The goalkeeper also revealed that he doesn’t really know why Warne referred to him as the iconic pop-culture.

“I actually don’t know. There is free interpretation there. In any case, I take it as a compliment. Paul is a man with a sense of humour.”

For his former club Djurgarden, Zetterström played in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers earlier in the season. Last season, he played in the group stages of the competition too.

He’s eager to get more opportunities with Sweden and that can only help motivate him more for Derby County.
