Marca continues to make live interviews with several Spanish stars, and it was Leeds United’s Pablo Hernández who’s spoken to the outlet today.

The chat has been mostly about his time in his home country, recalling the years at Valencia, where he’s picked the best teammates he’s ever had: David Villa, David Silva and Juan Mata.

But there was obviously some time to speak about Leeds United as well, and that’s where Hernández has shown his happiness for working under Marcelo Bielsa.

“Football crosses paths and I’ve been lucky to meet Bielsa,” Hernandez told Marca.

“He came to my career at 33 years old, you think you don’t have much more to learn as a footballer nor progress, and with Marcelo you learn every day. Without going any further I think last season was the best of my career.”

Quizzed about the hardest defenders he’s ever played against, the midfielder has given Carles Puyol a special mention, but also named Sergio Ramos and Ashley Cole.

Hernández was also asked to choose a teammate from every club he’s played for.

He picked Vicente Guaita from Valencia B, Juanjo Bezares from Cádiz, Rubén De La Red from Getafe, David Silva from Valencia, Michu from Swansea City, Paulinho from Al Arabi, Renan from Al Nasr, Roberto Rashorras from Rayo Vallecano and finally Ezgjan Alioski from Leeds United.

The 35-year-old has also expressed his desire to retire at Castellon, the club from his home town.
