Barely used under Antonio Conte so far this season, the future of Cesc Fabregas was a big question mark going into Wednesday’s transfer deadline day, with AC Milan allegedly interested in a loan deal.
This has since been cast aside as something that probably won’t happen, and, if SportItalia in Italy are to be believed, the Serie A side have moved onto another target, one who currently plays at Arsenal.
No, it’s not Jack Wilshere, even though the England midfielder looks likely to leave the Emirates on loan during the final hours of the window, it’s apparently Aaron Ramsey.
Relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, the Italian media outlet claim that Adriano Galliani, Milan’s sporting director, has already reached out to the player’s representatives regarding his availability.
The answer to this contact isn’t divulged, but if they’re already letting Jack Wilshere go, we really can’t see Arsenal letting Aaron Ramsey, one of their more important midfielders when fit, leave the Emirates as well.
This sounds like a ‘transfer roulette’ kind of story, if you ask us.
Either that, or AC Milan are just asking everyone if they’re available.
