Turin newspaper Tuttosport has once again today a story about Juventus’ interest in Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri.

This is a chase which has been reported for a while now, but it seems the outlet has a new reason to believe the transfer would be possible in the summer.

This time, Tuttosport highlights that Palmieri’s peak at Chelsea had been during Maurizio Sarri’s time in charge of the club.

Even though Frank Lampard gave the Brazilian the same playing time at the start of the season, he couldn’t get back to the team after his injury, and has been forgotten recently.

That’s a good reason to believe Palmieri would be open to a move to Juventus in the summer, since he could meet Sarri once again at the Old Lady.

But Tuttosport doesn’t seem to know anything about contacts between the clubs or even a transfer fee for now.

So that’s a story which seems far from getting to its final stages.
