Just as João Félix continues to impress for Benfica, Manchester United keep being linked to the Portuguese starlet.
This Monday, the rumours come from Italy, as newspaper Tuttosport reports Juventus’ visit to the Estádio do Dragão, where Benfica beat Porto 2-1 in the weekend.
The newspaper highlights João Félix’s performance, as he led Benfica’s comeback, and says Juventus are one of the clubs who have been following the 19-year-old.
Manchester United get a mention twice in this story. First, they are listed as one of the clubs who scouted the match as well. Then, Tuttosport takes recent claims from Record which said the Red Devils are ready to pay the attacker’s €120m release clause.
With Juventus being interested in Félix, Tuttosport make it pretty clear that the Old Lady’s toughest competition comes from Old Trafford. The newspaper also mentions that the youngster is a client of Jorge Mendes, who has a good relationship with Juve because of Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer.
But United are still seen as tough to beat.
