Just like the Spanish press are doing their utmost to link every single possible striker with a move to Barcelona, the Italian press are doing the same with Roma and centre-backs.
However, according to Il Tempo, it’s another Liverpool defender who might be in Walter Sabatini’s little book of transfer for Luciano Spalletti.
The Italian newspaper claim on Monday that Dejan Lovren could be an option for the Rome based team, and that the Merseyside club would be willing to sell him if an offer of above €10m were to land on their desk.
Honestly, considering Dejan Lovren’s importance to Jürgen Klopp’s plan’s during the second half of last season (he featured heavily in their important Europa League campaign), we can’t see this happening.
