Despite Joe Hart’s good spell at Torino, the club have thought all season they’d face a near impossible task to keep him. His form attracted interest from several Premier League sides, and with Toro not being rich, it would be hard to beat such competition.

But the situation could change a lot, as reported by local newspaper Tuttosport.

According to their story, despite approaches from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, no clubs have made a concrete offer for the goalkeeper.

The 30-year-old is an option for many clubs, but since he’s not on top of the list for any of them, things are keeping quiet. And Hart has apparently told City that he’s not keen on moving to a mid-table club, as he’d rather stay at Torino. He’s not going back to Manchester City, not whilst Pep Guardiola is still there.

CapturarCity are reportedly demanding €15m for the transfer, and as long no clubs show up wanting to pay for that, Torino think they may have a chance. Optimism is growing.

The currently loan deal has 70% of Hart’s salary paid by the Italian side, as the player moved for free. Their offer now is to pay a fee and commit to a bigger percentage of his wages to convince Manchester City.

The English club keep waiting for offers, but in case they don’t come, renewing the loan with Torino may be the best option.
