Steve Bruce leaving his job as Hull City manager presented a new vacant seat in the Premier League. Managerial jobs in English football’s top division are valued around the world, and there’s certain to be a lot of interest.

Italy’s Tuttomercatoweb report on Sunday evening that Alberto Zaccheroni is one of the candidates to take the job at Hull City. The English club are said to be considering appointing Zaccheroni, who has an extensive list of previous clubs.

The Italian has managed Serie A clubs including Juventus, Lazio, AC Milan and Inter Milan. Zaccheroni’s last job was in charge of Beijing Guoan, but he was dismissed after a poor run of results and performances.

The 63 year old is vastly experienced, and it may be people close to him who are throwing his name into the ring.
