Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly one of the Premier League clubs interested in Torino forward Nicola Rauti.
According to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web today, the Seagulls have been scouting the player, and watched him scoring against AC Milan in the Youth Cup final last month.
Now the Premier League side is said to be ‘concentrated’ on signing him, and the ‘good relationship’ between clubs could help them.
Rauti is still 18 years old, and is still to debut for Torino’s first team.
Tutto Mercato Web highlights the fact that he’s scored 25 goals in the past two seasons for Torino’s academy.
The website doesn’t seem to have an idea of how much Rauti would cost Brighton.
Premier League clubs normally have a financial advantage over Italian sides, but considering that nobody has been able to take Andrea Belotti from Torino so far, maybe the Serie A club will be playing hard when negotiating for the youngster too.
