AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié could be on his way to either West Ham or Wolverhampton Wanderers in January, according to Italian pundit Carlo Pellegatti.

Kessié has made 11 appearances in Serie A for Milan this season, starting in nine of those games so far.

Despite that, there have been constant rumours about his future at the club, with suggestions Milan could look to move him on in January.

Wolves are a club who have been linked with the Ivorian midfielder since the summer transfer window and, according to Pellegatti, they are one of his potential destinations.

Speaking on his Youtube show, relayed by Virgilio, he claimed that “Kessié will go to England, to West Ham or Wolverhampton, for at least 25 million and Milan will reinvest in the market”.

That’s a bold claim from Pellegatti but given his connections with Milan, one that probably shouldn’t be overlooked.

Wolves are certainly not a new name having been linked with Kessié for months, although it would be surprising to see them make a move given the comments their chief scout made recently.

West Ham, though, would make sense. They are in desperate need of a player who could add strength to their midfield, and if Kessie is available, it would not be surprising to see them making a move.
