With the January transfer window fast approaching, there will be plenty of clubs looking to add some firepower to their team.

And if that is the case, then Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is a player they will be fully aware of.

The Colombian has continued his impressive goalscoring record this season, with 22 goals in 26 games for Steven Gerrard’s side to date.

That form has not gone unnoticed south of the border, with several Premier League teams already linked with making a move for him in January.

That’s something Rangers are keen to avoid at all costs, and they have gone out of their way to make it clear that the striker will not be leaving the club in the winter window.

Their stance is unlikely to bother any clubs who may be interested and Theo Karasavvidis, an intermediary for World in Motion, the agency that represents Morelos, believes clubs should be pushing to sign the Rangers star as soon as possible.

“He’s a player who has always scored a lot since he arrived in Europe,” he told TuttoMercatoWeb.

“He doesn’t always play, but he is a goal machine. He is a player worth following; whoever wants an attacker must come and follow him.

“Now I can’t tell (his price tag). He doesn’t have a very high value, my advice is to take him before his name is on everyone’s lips.”
