Due to a lack of game time, Jakub Kiwior’s future at Arsenal has been up in the air, at least in the Italian media’s eyes.

That’s because a number of Serie A clubs are eyeing up the young defender for a potential loan, which is something the Gunners aren’t open to.

Enter Napoli, who have money to spend and could be willing to go after the Arsenal player, according to Il Mattino on Monday.

The newspaper waste no time in pointing out that Aurelio De Laurentiis ‘has a budget for the winter transfer market of up to €30-40m’.

The problem is that he won’t just spend that money on anyone, and will need to be ‘convinced’ that any player is the right one for his team before committing to a transfer.

This is where Kiwior comes in, as it’s explained the Poland international is ‘first on the list’ in Naples to strengthen the defence.

Arsenal aren’t ‘willing to loan him out’, and are ‘asking for €25m’, the same amount they paid for him last January, to sell him.

That’s seen as ‘not even that much’ before Il Mattino add that ‘intermediaries are moving’, as the Pole is ‘on top of everyone’  at this moment in time.
