Noa Lang has been linked with a move to Leeds United over the past few months and earlier reports stated a ‘large sum’ is needed to take him away from Club Brugge.
In the last week of the summer window, the Whites reportedly still have their sights set on the winger.
That’s according to Sport/Voetbalmagazine, relayed by Voetbal Primeur, who add ‘there is interest from Leeds United for Lang’.
Having initially joined the Belgian champions on loan from Ajax last summer, the 22-year-old’s stay at Club Brugge was made permanent back in March. The Netherlands U21 international has signed a contract until 2024.
Despite the interest shown by Marcelo Bielsa’s side and faced with the possibility of losing the Dutchman in the coming days, Sport/Voetbalmagazine say Club Brugge ‘ask for an absolute top prize’ of more than €30m to let Lang leave in the current window.
If there’s no offer in excess of €30m, the player will continue with his current employer. This is a message for Leeds and if they want to sign Lang soon, they have to invest the aforementioned figure to acquire his services.
