Following their unsuccessful attempts to sign Dusan Vlahovic in January, Arsenal continue to look for the prolific striker they are missing.

Names are being thrown around left, right and centre, with some options more realistic than others, but one player who could potentially end up being a serious option is Lautaro Martinez.

That’s because Inter are actually open to the sale of the Argentine, knowing full well they need money this summer.

Allowing Martinez to leave would mean they can get the required €70m by sacrificing just ‘one big player’, which is better than keeping him and weakening other areas of the pitch.

This all comes from Tuttosport, relayed by FC Inter 1908, who explain that Arsenal are among those keen on the player should he end up on the market.

While Atlético Madrid are said to be ‘in the front row’, having previously attempted to sign him a summer ago, it’s made clear that everyone should ‘keep an eye’ on the Premier League.

That’s because, alongside Tottenham, ‘the interest of Arsenal must also be registered’.

There’s been suggestions that Martinez could end up costing somewhere around €70-80m, which is a price the London club seemed prepared to pay for Vlahovic back in January, meaning that if Martinez is willing to swap Italy for England, the Emirates side might have a shot here.
