Last week, Watford director Gianluca Nani sent big praise towards Yaser Asprilla.
In an interview with the Italian media, the club chief talked about the youngster’s big potential and even called him the ‘new Bellingham’, which made the local headlines.
Now as outlet InterLive today shares a fresh story with those quotes, they claim Inter Milan are interested in the Watford player.
The website doesn’t bring many details on this chase, explaining it’s still not known if there are big chances a ‘summer assault’ will be made.
Nani had already revealed that several clubs have been following Asprilla, but Inter Milan’s interest in him is definitely new.
The youngster was signed by Watford for just €3m from Envigado back in 2022. This season, he had six goals and eight assists in 47 appearances for the Hornets, and that led Transfermarkt to value him at €8m.
It now remains to be seen how much the Vicarage Road side would demand in case some European giants actually come for his signing. The Colombian is protected by a contract which lasts until 2026.
