Tottenham are being increasingly linked with Jann-Fiete Arp in the German media.
More often than not in recent weeks and months, when there’s been a transfer related article on Arp, it’s Tottenham who are the English club named.
Previously Chelsea had been thought to be the keenest side from the Premier League, and Arsenal have been linked too, but now it’s Tottenham out on their own.
Last week Bild said Arp is a name on Mauricio Pochettino’s wanted list, and they stated HSV were trying to protect themselves with a renewal.
With a relegation fight on their hands, Hamburg would give Arp a release clause so he can leave if the worst happens.
Bild believe the amount would be around €10m, and this week’s edition of SportBild backs that up in their summer transfer special.
Tottenham and RB Leipzig are both said to be keen on the youngster, and could make moves in the summer.
Should Hamburg avoid relegation then it may be best for the 18 year old to stick around, especially if he’s a regular at that time.
