Norwich City star Max Aarons is not a target for Wolfsburg, despite reports to the contrary in England.
That’s according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenburg, who has dismissed the idea of the full-back ending up with the Bundesliga side.
Reports in England today had linked Aarons with a move to Germany once again, with it claimed Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach, alongside Marseille, were all looking at a possible move for the Norwich City defender.
It’s not the first time Aarons has been linked with a move to Germany, having been named as a possible target for Bayern Munich in the last few years.
That move never happened, and it appears neither will the switch to Wolfsburg, with Plettenburg reporting ‘he won’t join’ the German club, and there is ‘no issue’ on that front.
Interestingly he doesn’t dismiss the idea of Borussia Monchengladbach or Marseille being interested, just Wolfsburg at this point.
Aarons could therefore be leaving Norwich for one of those clubs this summer, but as far as Plettenburg is concerned, Wolfsburg is not an option.
