Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna today brings some updates on the situation of Paris Saint Germain fullback Abdou Diallo, who’s been linked with an exit from the Ligue 1 club.
The latest on the 25-year-old is that there’s ‘concrete interest’ from AC Milan, who are willing to make an offer for his move.
Still, Aouna points out that the Rossoneri would have competition from Newcastle United, who are also keen on the Frenchman.
The report claims that PSG want at least €25m, although it’s not revealed how much either Milan or the Magpies would like to spend on the signing.
In mid-November, following Eddie Howe’s arrival at St. James’ Park, the outlet brought a piece claiming the manager got to know the squad and felt like he needed to strengthen the Magpies’ defence.
That story claimed Diallo was a target ‘studied’ by Newcastle, who are ‘closely interested’ in him and wondered if the Premier League side would be able to convince him to join them.
Now it looks like besides that question, there’s also the competition from Milan to be beaten.
