There’s one rumour in France that refuses to die down these days, and that’s Lucas Moura to Chelsea.

Le10 Sport appear to be the ones pushing it, and while we most of the time take what they say with a small pinch of salt, the fact the Brazilian press are getting involved suggests there might be something in it.

While they don’t mention Lucas Moura directly, what UOL stated on Thursday (we covered that here) suggested Willian could be on his way out from Chelsea if Antonio Conte remained as manager.

A January exit for the Stamford Bridge resident would free a space in the Italian’s squad, which is where the Paris Saint-Germain forward comes in.

The 25-year-old has only played 71 minutes of football over the current campaign, which pales in comparison to Willian’s 994 minutes, and we’re pretty sure Lucas Moura would jump at the opportunities the former Shakhtar star has had this season.

As things stand, the more talk there is about the Chelsea man leaving, the more you’ll hear about the Paris Saint-Germain flop going to Stamford Bridge, for whom the club are said to be wanting around €30m.

That’s how these things work, and if there’s even the smallest bit of truth in it, it makes sense for all parties involved.
