West Ham United defender Thilo Kehrer is expected to travel to Monaco in the next 48 hours as everything is done on his loan deal.

That’s according to RMC Sport, who back up claims from earlier today that a deal is imminent between the two sides.

They report that Kehrer is expected to travel to Monaco in the next 48 hours, with the closure of a loan deal now ‘imminent’.

According to their information the West Ham man will make the move to the Ligue 1 club on a ‘paying loan with an option to buy’ and ‘everything is complete’ for the former PSG man to move to the Principality.

He is expected to arrive within 48 hours but could travel as early as Thursday, with the option to buy him having been agreed at €10m.

The move has been facilitated by the German defender’s desire to move on after he found himself down the pecking order at the London Stadium this season.

He’s only made three starts in the Premier League to date, with none of them starts, and thus the formula ‘seems to suit everyone’, hence the quick agreement between Monaco and West Ham and the sudden acceleration in the agreement this week.
