Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is featured this week in an interview with Brazilian outlet TNT Sports.
Speaking to reporter Fred Caldeira, the 29-year-old had a lot to say about how things have been going at the Blues, the impact of Thomas Tuchel and his improvement in the second part of the season.
You may be aware that Jorginho is regularly involved in transfer rumours, especially those coming from the Italian media, who are often claiming he could end up back at Napoli or even be signed by other Serie A giants.
So when asked about what he thinks of his future, the midfielder claims he’s not worried at all about transfer business at this moment in time.
“Dude, I’ll tell you the truth. At the moment, how am I going to think about the future two years from now, having what I still have to play this season. Then the Euro is coming,” Jorginho told TNT Sports.
“So, honestly, there’s no way to think ahead. In fact, I’m very happy here. I’m really happy here. So I don’t think about anything else either. Now, at the moment, there’s no reason to think about what will happen in two years, for example.”
With the reporter asking if it’s better to leave aside the transfer gossip, with a mention to the Napoli links, Jorginho showed good sense of humour in dismissing it.
“No, absolutely. You like these things, huh (laughs). I’m gonna tell you. You like these things. It will always exist. There will always be all of that. But there’s no way I can think of anything else right now.”
At the end of the interview, the midfielder also promised that should Chelsea win the Champions League, then he would make sure to grow the same moustache as the Brazilian reporter.
