Juventus have this summer decided they’re already bored of Joao Cancelo and want to sell him to be replaced with a likely cheaper version, at least if their local newspaper Tuttosport is to be believed.

On Thursday, it was reported Cancelo is very close to a Manchester City move, but  now on Friday the same newspaper isn’t so sure, saying a transfer is almost certainly happening, and then putting both Manchester clubs on an equal footing.

The best thing for Tuttosport about Cancelo rumours is they get to publish articles about who could replace him. Today’s it’s claimed the idea of signing Kieran Trippier from Tottenham is ‘taking off’.

There could be trouble ahead, with it once again being explained how difficult it is to negotiate a good price with Daniel Levy.

Tuttosport say an advantage for Juve is that they have good relations with Trippier’s agent, Frank Trimboli.

However, Trimboli is listed as being with Base Soccer, and it’s thought the Tottenham player is actually represented by Stellar Group, so they may have got that one wrong.
