Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez doesn’t really mind saying the club should have done better in the summer transfer window.

The Chilean international had already spoken to Sky Sports to say they should spend money on the likes of Arthuro Vidal, and now he’s had a similar speech when talking to the South American media.

Sanchez spoke to ESPN Brasil ahead of Man United’s Premier League game against Leicester City this Friday, and when asked about signings, he admitted that the club should have done better.

“I’d like us to have signed many more players, world class, top level. But that’s the club’s decision. I’m very happy. I’m very anxious for the start of the season against Leicester, a very strong team.”

Asked about the players who have joined the squad for the season, Sanchez claims to be excited about the two new South Americans. First talking about Fred, he said: “His first match impressed me a lot.”

“Truth is that it’s something the team missed, someone who plays beautiful, as they say in Brazil. Andreas Pereira too, they’re two players who have quality and will help a lot.”

After a disappointing start to his Manchester United career, Alexis Sanchez will now want to show he’s truly one of the best players in the Premier League.
