Brentford manager Thomas Frank is the ideal candidate to replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham, if they decide to move on from the Australian coach.
That’s according to Jan Mølby at least, who has been touting the Brentford boss to Tottenham today in comments to Viaplay, relayed by Tipsbladet.
Frank has been earning a name for himself in the Premier League since bringing Brentford up from the Championship in 2021.
Since then, Brentford have finished 13th, ninth and 16th and are currently 10th after 15 games of this campaign, boasting the best home form in the entire division, with four more points than league leaders Liverpool.
The Bees have not gone unnoticed, and Frank is considered the mastermind of their success, regularly finding himself linked with bigger jobs such as Chelsea and Manchester United.
He’s often been clear about such links, never shying away from the fact that he’d be keen on moving to a bigger club from Brentford it were ever offered to him.
Mølby believes that could be around the corner and thinks Tottenham are the ideal destination for Frank to make the next step in his career.
“I no longer have any doubts – he is the right man for Tottenham. The squad they have suits Thomas Frank 100%,” he said.
“Look at the players and the way Thomas Frank plays – I think it’s perfect. All the offensive quality he has at Brentford, he gets a lot out of it.
“At Tottenham he will have even better attacking qualities if he gets there so try to think what he can get out of those boys. I would go so far as to say that even Timo Werner would be able to get going again.”
