Chelsea signed Eden Hazard’s brother Kylian from Hungarian club Ujpest in 2017 and he joined the Blues development squad rather than their first team.

Earlier in the summer, the west London club allowed the 23-year-old join Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan deal.

He’s explained his employer keeps tracking his development, while he was also asked about his future at Stamford Bridge by Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.

“They send me messages and information with tips and things that were good and less good. I remain the property of Chelsea. It is my intention that I stay for one year and then we will discuss the future,” the attacking midfielder said.

Just like Eden’s current deal at the west London club, his brother’s contract with the Premier League club runs down in 2020.

It makes sense for the latter to think about his future next summer because if he is allowed to go out on loan next season without extending his contract, then Chelsea will lose him as a free agent.

So far, Kylian has made five appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season and scored one goal in the process. With his current level, it will be difficult for him to break into Chelsea’s squad next season.
