Leeds United youngster Crysencio Summerville has insisted he is ready to take his chance at Elland Road and continue impressing under Jesse Marsch.
Summerville has managed to break into the Leeds first team this season, under Jesse Marsch, slowly building his way into the first-team since the season began.
He started as something of a bit part player, being handed substitute appearances in the first few weeks of the campaign or simply sitting on the bench.
The last three weeks have seen a complete change in his fortunes, though, with him scoring in Leeds’ 3-2 defeat to Fulham in October and not looking back.
He’s since scored a last minute winner in the 2-1 success at Anfield last week and was the hero once again at the weekend, bagging an 84th minute winner to seal a remarkable comeback and 4-3 win for Leeds.
The 21-year-old is undoubtedly enjoying the best moment of his short time at Elland Road and he insists he is ready to take the opportunity with both hands.
“One goal of mine is that in the long run I want to be among the better players in Europe,” he told De Telegraaf.
“I then think: you can just dream and work towards that, can’t you? Last year I sometimes regretted not playing, but looking back on it now, I was not one hundred per cent ready to play in the Premier League.
“Only now I can say that I am really ready, that I can show myself as well.”
