Adam Masina is settling in well to his Watford career.
The 24 year old made the move from Bologna in the summer transfer window and is pushing to get as many minutes as possible.
So far he has two starts in the Premier League and another two in the League Cup. Those starts in the league recently came in Watford’s two wins, against Wolves and Huddersfield Town, which have been sandwiched by less impressive results.
Masina will be hoping to get a chance again soon but there’s certainly no sound of frustration from the player, and speaking to Sky Italia he’s made it clear how content he is with the Hornets.
The comments have been picked up by TMW, and Masina is quoted as saying: “I’m happy, I can work well, I’m here to improve, I’m happy with my choice, it’s an experience that is professionally enriching me.
A call up for the Italian national team remains a goal for the former Italy U21 player, and he explained how he’ll work towards that, just like any other aim.
On the social media goodbye he sent to Bologna fans, the Watford player said:Â “I wanted to explain the reason for my choice, it seemed right for the people left behind that I think of as a family, but it’s life, it goes on.”
