Ryan Sessegnon was considered one of England’s top young talents when he made the breakthrough with Fulham, and a move to Tottenham Hotspur was rumoured window after window.
He finally completed a transfer to Spurs in the summer 2019 transfer window, but failed to make much of an impact. Subsequently, he’s been sent out on loan to the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim, and things are looking brighter.
Still only 20-years-of-age, the Tottenham owned player continues to attract transfer attention from around Europe. AC Milan have been linked previously and there’s a good chance the Rossoneri will be again in the future, especially if Sessegnon can put together an impressive season in Germany.
Sessegnon is quoted as saying: “I like La Liga which is a good league with great teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona. But I also like Serie A a lot: there is Milan, a top club that I’ve always liked. But for now I am focused only on my team.”
There’s plenty of time for the youngster to progress and achieve his aims, and Tottenham will hope that eventually he can fulfil his potential for them. After that, the dream of Real Madrid and Barcelona can become more realistic.
