The chats James Rodriguez has been having with fans during his gaming streams continue to have some interesting quotes from the Everton star.
The Colombian media is now full of headlines with what the midfielder said at the weekend, when he was teasing on revealing the clubs from his home country he supports.
As reported by Futbolete, Rodriguez was playing Call of Duty when he started speaking about his favourite clubs, asking his fans to guess them.
“What team do you think I’m of? Let’s see, I read you. I like two teams; I love them. Fan? Yes, we can say yes”, said Rodriguez.
The player then explained why he couldn’t reveal any of them: “No, that cannot be said. I don’t like to say it because you never know what will happen in the future”.
Most people in Colombia think one of these clubs are Deportivo Tolima, due to claims from the player in the past, but that’s something we shall only see in the future.
Even though James Rodriguez now plays with the possibility of playing in Colombia somday, the Everton player has recently made it clear he doesn’t want to return to South America so soon with Goodison Park a good home for him for the time being.
“It’s not in my plans, really. Who knows in two, three or four years because life and football takes many turns, but I think not. Right now I don’t think so”, he said last week.
