Sevilla defender Loic Bade has once again been asked about the chance of joining Tottenham Hotspur.
As the centre-back took part in a commercial event in Spain, he spoke to local journalists, and Marca features some of his quotes.
Bade was asked about the possibility of switching Sevilla for Tottenham, and as pointed out by the outlet, he had a ‘half smile’ when answering that.
“I’m comfortable, I’m working well, I’m trying to progress… I’m at Sevilla, I don’t know why you’re talking about Tottenham,” said Bade.
This isn’t the first time Bade has been asked about being linked to Tottenham. A couple of months ago, when asked about Spurs interest, he pointed out there’s some ‘satisfaction’ about those rumours.
The centre-back, however, many times claimed he’s compltely fine at Sevilla, and that was no different this time. That’s why it doesn’t sound like he’d make any efforts to force a move from the La Liga side.
Bade’s links with Tottenham have been around for a while now, and we probably shouldn’t forget that Spurs ended up spending a few million to reinforce their defence in the January transfer window, as they bought Radu Dragusin from Genoa.
